Daylight harvesting
LouverShade™ control systems can be easily programmed in a variety of ways to suit your unique needs. LouverShade™ can also be controlled in groups, individually or both. Completely automated controls tied into building management systems with manual overrides are all part of the features offered with LouverShade™. Below are three examples of typical scenarios:

Morning
In the morning, the upper louver portion of LouverShade™ automatically opens to an optimal daylight harvesting position; the solar shade waits in a standby mode for a command from an occupant.
The ‘Morning’ setting may be defined as:
- A specific time of day
- Only on selected days of week
- The presence of daylight
- Set to the location of sun

Workday
During the work day, the default setting for louvers is angled for maximum light harvesting. The shade portion may be deployed for glare reduction at the work-surface level.
The ‘Workday’ setting may be defined as:
- A specific time of day
- Only selected days of the week
- Only when occupants are present

Night
At the end of the work day, both the louvers and solar shades close, separating the night chill from the interior space.
The ‘Night’ setting may be defined as:
- A specific time of day
- Only selected days of the week
- When no occupants are present
- The absence of daylight
